Currently Practicing in another Canadian Jurisdiction

 If you are currently licensed to practice physiotherapy in another Canadian jurisdiction, you may apply to be licensed under  Labour Mobility Guidelines.

Registration information for the applicants who are currently practicing  in Canada 

    • Are currently in Good Standing and licensed to practice physiotherapy in a Canadian jurisdiction ...  and
    • Are Canadian citizen or are legally entitled to work in Canada   ...  and
    • Have a total of 1200 practice hours in the preceding 5 yrs (if applicable).

In order to be granted licensure with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (NSCP), you must complete the Online Registration process for licensure.  Please review the Registration Guide and the Registration Checklist for the documents that are required along with your registration application. Payment  for the current registration fee, as appropriate, is in Canadian funds. 

  • PLEASE NOTE: The licensing process is typically completed in 1-2 days after the College receives all fees and documentation, but it may take up to a maximum of 5 business days depending on office hours and vacations.
