Peer Assessment (PA)
This committee is appointed by the Nova Scotia Regulator of Physiotherapy (NSRPT) Board of Directors (BOD) pursuant to the Regulated Health Professions Act 2023 c.15, s12 (x). The purpose of the Peer Assessment Committee is to ensure registered Physiotherapists in Nova Scotia practice to the standard defined by the Physiotherapy Act, Regulations, Code of Ethics, and Practice Standards/Guidelines/Advisories.

Investigation Complaints Committee (ICC)
This committee is set up by the Nova Scotia Regulator of Physiotherapy (NSRPT) Board of Directors (BOD) pursuant to the Regulated Health Professions Act 2023 c.15. It is responsible for the investigation, of each complaint received in writing by the College, and also for determining the resolution of each complaint.

The Appointments Committee was established to oversee the recruitment, appointment, retention and succession planning for the Board and committee members for the NSRPT.

Credentials Committee (CC)
This committee is appointed by the Nova Scotia Regulator of Physiotherapy (NSRP) Board of Directors (BOD) pursuant to the Regulated Health Professions Act 2023 c.15, s12 (x). The Credentials Committee is responsible for carrying out the interim
competency evaluation process when the national exam has been unavailable for more than 12 months.
